This is a very interesting reaction by the US Army to dismiss a soldier for actually trying to do the right thing.
Staff Sgt. Ricardo Branch told The Washington Times that he must leave the Army by Aug. 1. His crime was mentioning in an internal military email the name of the aviation unit that flew Navy SEALs inside Pakistan airspace to kill the al Qaeda leader
This makes me wonder “if” there is something else that is behind this dismissal than just a soldier mentioning a particular unit. Granted, it was of a special unit (Night Stalkers) but nonetheless, my gut call is that there is more than meets the eye on this one. Especially because the POTUS at the time actually already mentioned the air unit and made light of it. Seems a bit drastic of the Army doesn’t it? Time for a C-Gar
