I was able to attend Marty Horn's funeral service and pay tribute to a great American, soldier, selfless contributer, husband, father and brother.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.” — General George S. Patton
This quote fits Marty perfectly as I can hear him saying it . We are thankful for warriors like Marty who set the example as a father, led as a Soldier and exceeded the norm of support to the troops.
Peggy Kane in support along with other Patriot guard Riders honoring Marty. A true patriot who not only talks the talk but walks it as well.
It was a pleasure to be with the entire Horn family these last couple days, especially Sue who is a warrior in every sense of the word. Strong as hell, while caring and thoughtful at the same time. A unique combination of character traits in this day.

This isn't good bye Marty, as we will see each other again. You have done well, your mission is over, you made us all very proud to know you and carry on your examples. Rest easy my friend. Job well done.
