“We play a game, we don’t deserve the worship that we often receive. You do.”

If you have read One Marine’s View, you have probably heard where I laugh at those that demand $15 an hour for doing the very bare minimums or those that want something for nothing or even how I may beat up an NFL player from time to time about how they bitch about how much they make (except Pat Tillman he put his money where his mouth was) and now I will add the bad assery, in your face, I will rip your arms off your body and beat you with them, defense extraordinaire, JJ Watt from the Houston Texans and Jared Allen from the Minnesota Vikings

I’ve never met Mr Watt or Mr Allen, but if I did, I would simply say, “Thank You” back at them, they freaking get it and every Vet reading his post can tell he is sincere(we have BS detectors for that kind of stuff.)

Read below about Mr Watts post and FYI, Mr Allen happens to have a brother & relatives in the Marine Corps (top secret how I know that 😉
Many in the NFL spend great lengths negotiating their contracts, I get it, I negotiated my Gov contract and I got grunts (I think I won) but if alllllllll the NFL players just took 2 min and gave half a shit that Mr Watt & Allen do, it may just open their eyes a bit more.

From your warriors in America and deployed, thanks back at ya fellas! Time for a C-Gar

Watt turned to Facebook and penned a brutally honest note contrasting the differences between being a professional athlete and a member of the armed forces.

“We play a game. Yes, to many of us it is much more than a game, but at the end of the day it is just that, a game. It is not life or death. We are not going off to war, we are not putting our lives on the line, we are not protecting our country’s freedom,” he wrote. “But we are in the headlines, we become household names and we are often the role models that children look up to. I am not saying that it is right, but it is what it is.”
