Gang-

Those that have read OMV for some time know I’m a big supporter for AnySoldier.com that supports our warriors.  Currently, AnySoldier is conducting "Donations for Appreciation” fund raiser until Independence Day. What better way to celebrate the holiday in July but to know you made a difference for our warriors?  There are 971 great Americans signed up on AnySoldier that support our warriors. Imagine if they each gave $50. That’s  a “cheap” night out at the movies and would automatically put us at our goal.  Call me “old fashion” but I think America could use a little Old Fashion about now and so could those that support your warriors. One person can make a difference and just reading this means you care.  Join me in making a difference for those that support us! Semper Fidelis

Time for a CGar!

Background info about AnySoldier.com

Sergeant Brian Horn, then an Army Infantry Soldier with the 173rd Airborne Brigade, was in the Kirkuk area of Iraq when he asked his parents for even more care packages. He agreed to distribute the packages that came to him with "Attn: Any Soldier®" in his address to soldiers who didn't get much or any mail.  Brian later completed a tour in Afghanistan and is now home, but has a sister in the Army. AnySoldier.com continues to be much larger than ever with supporters world-wide!

Any Soldier Inc. started in August 2003 as a simple family effort to help the soldiers in one Army unit; thus, our name. Due to overwhelming requests, on 1 January 2004 the Any Soldier® effort was expanded to include any member of the Armed Forces in harm's way.

There are currently nearly 100,000 troops in Afganistan and still many hundreds in Iraq and will be for a long time.  This is in addition to all the troops we have world-wide that need your support.  We help troops anywhere outside the United States, but can only do that with your help.

Did you know that the majority of the troops in Afghanistan came directly from being in Iraq?  Help us help them.
