I believe that I interpret the will of the Congress and of the people when I assert that we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost, but will make it very certain that this form of treachery shall never again endanger us.

Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory, and our interests are in grave danger.

With confidence in our armed forces, with the unbounding determination of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph — so help us God. December 8, 1941, U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt

We must never forget Pearl Harbor or  the mighty American people that bond us  together to make us a force to contend with. We are America. There are many countries in this world but this one is ours! Time for a C-GAR!

Then and now……

  1. I remember very well December 7, 1941… tho still a child and no TV to watch…it is still and will be forever etched in my mind.. America, we stood as one to defeat the enemy and we did.. NEVER FORGET!

  2. I came along just a few years behind you Pincher. But I couldn’t forget Dec 7, 1941 if I tried. I was blessed to be raised by a small band of Patriots that served both in the military and the factories. They lived out their love of country and all those that served leaving me a legacy far more valuable than silver and gold.
