Ever get the feeling like hockey chucking a fellow employer into the wall because he is an idiot? I know there are some of you that would just love to throttle people who think with their ass and treat warriors like babies.

Dont Baby them….
Many times people say or do the dumbest thing especially when they are around wounded warriors. Look, they don’t want your damn sympathy, they want to get better and they don’t get better by babying them or treating them like some kind of freak. They are heroes and they should be treated as such. Some people seriously do not freaking get it. These guys have been and seen hell and came back with the same steely eyed attitudes they deployed with. The last thing we can do as a society is treat them like first graders. They will joke to one another about their disabilities. There is a strange and personable bond between Marines especially wounded ones that includes sometimes a demented sense of humour so don’t be taken back if one or two make an off the wall comment. All you head shrinks out there don’t think they are automatically suffering from PTSD. Many of these young warriors are cocked and locked in the head, they are just missing some limbs. Get over it, they have. The sympathy party doesn’t help them. They get it, they are missing a limb but I can tell you this, try to stop them on the road to recovery. Will there be some that need extra help? Of course you cant begin to fathom the hell, pain and suffering these studs have been through during deployment and now on the road to recover so try to “understand” unless you have walked in their shoes. Don’t care how much you think you know, what freaking diploma you have on your wall, how about simply just listening to these men and not treat them like children, Challenge them, push them, help them over obstacles.
Marine units, especially infantry units are best when they are running at an RPM of 17000. When they are in idle is when they start to deteriorate. That’s why we continuously have a fast pace, tough training regime, they have to run at a high RPM to operate the best and just because their bodies may not be able to do it at first, challenge them don’t baby them because Marines help other Marines and we don’t leave brothers behind. If you know of a Marine that needs help, let the world know and put in the comments. Trust me people are standing by and we will not forget our brothers.
Motivate them and they will surprises you, baby them and you will do more harm than good in the long run.
Keep attacking warriors.
Time for a Cgar!
