The winners of the 2011 Milbloggies were announced Friday, April 29 at the Sixth Annual Milblog Conference.

I appreciate all of you that took the time & voted for One Marine's View. Attending the conference via chat/stream was awesome and because of all of you that voted, many more people know what your Marines are doing while in the fight.

The Military Spouse Blog Award and Fan Favorite Award went to the heartwarming blog of Ben and Katie.

As described by Goodnight moon during the nomination phase of the Milbloggies, “She is such an inspiration of a devoted military wife.  Ben and Katie were both in a car accident on their way to dinner, when their lives would forever be changed! Ben has been on a very long road to recovery ever since that day, and Katie has been right beside him every step of the way! Katie is amazing!”

ALL of the below winners have been added to my blog roll-please check them out.

  1. Congrats!!
Seems I fell a little short, I’ll get ’em next year.
Seriously, I know It sounds like a cliche’, but for my daughter to be in/me to be doing this less than a year, it was an honor to be nominated.
So to you my friend I say
    OOHRAH

  2. “You got to love them and as I watch them in action I continue to wonder where we get such fine young warriors!” -Major Pain-
I wonder the same thing everyday. They keep me motivated. I figure if they can do what they do what I have to do is no big thing.
