Marine colage

The latest media coverage is sickening. Charlie Sheen? Lindsy Lohan? Are you shitting me?

What about:

Staff Sgt. James M. Malachowski, 25,(USMC)

Staff Sgt. Mecolus C. McDaniel, 33, (US Army)

Cpl. Donald R. Mickler Jr., 29, of Bucyrus, Ohio; and (US Army)

Pfc. Rudy A. Acosta, 19, of Canyon Country, Calif. (US Army)

Lance Cpl. Christopher S. Meis, 20, (USMC)

Only to name a few that have paid the ultimate sacrifice this week.

Did any of these warriors receive the media attention that either of the Hollywood “stars” received? Do you know what they have sacrificed for  their country? These heroes make less than 10% of what the above Hollywood crack heads make  and get zero media attention and their families sacrifice so much more. Not to mention that we are now involved in 3 separate wars. Closing Ops in Iraq, full scale operations in Afg and into Ops in Libya. This is going on while at the same time we are rapidly shrinking our military size & forces at the cyclic rate.

Your military continues to answer the call any time or place despite what the American media thinks is important and glamorize the drug addicted “role models” of Hollywood.  I would just like to see the above military warriors mentioned in more than a DOD release of local news fade out where a news caster says…In Afghanistan local boy was killed just before they go to commercial. Sad.

Look around America, you military is one of the solid columns holding this nation together, Not some Holywood drug addict with too much money.  When you buy those lame ass tabloids in the grocery store, you are supporting their cause and telling them, yes its important t for me to spend my money on this instead of donating to support the troops. Wow, that is saying a lot about us as a country.

Keep you tabloids and read your trash because your military are providing the blanket in three wars for you to do that freely.  What do you think is really important?

Time for a Cgar, we are going to be busy!

  1. If follywood fell off the face of the planet it would be a wonderful thing. May God continue to bless our troops and the families of those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. I am with you all daily in my heart.

  2. To our Courageous Fallen Heroes
    I will not forget…
You spill your blood on distant sands,
    Endure enemies on hostile lands,
You hold our freedom in your hands,
Yet so many still don’t understand!
The sacrifice that you have made,
Wounds that never seem to fade,
    Painful memories with you stay,
The costly price you have to pay!
Too many have been laid to rest,
They are among the very best,
    Brave soldiers pass the test,
For you we are so blessed!
    Past, present, young or old,
    So many stories left untold,
Your lives worth more that gold,
May our freedom not be sold!
    Forgotten you will never be,
    For this American can see,
    The high cost of liberty,
The price you paid for me!
In my heart it is set,
    I am in your debt,
Even though we have never met,
    I will not forget!

  3. This has everything to do with the anti-Americans in control of the so called “main stream media”.
The news blackout is on everything positive and good with military service.
Notice how the bad taste photos of troops posing with dead Taliban are being played for all it is worth. Before that it was how homophobe combat units in theater will have don’t ask, don’t tell shoved down their throats or else. Don’t like it? leave the service. Should do wonders for retention rates.
Well Major, The men of my family have been called to service since they first stepped off the boat here in America in 1856. The corps taught me a few things, and my oath to protect and defend the Constitution has no expiration limit. Right now I am doing what I can to refute the lies and misinformation spread by the twits on the streets, in the papers and on TV. While there are many at work to defend what we love, it seems our voices are a lone cry in the wilderness…
I have never been more afraid for my country. But I will never give up, never surrender, and never stop supporting those who will do the same in the name of what is right, good and just.
    Semper Fi Sir.

  4. Totally agree with you! I refuse to even look at the cover of those trash rags but I will be saying a prayer for those who made the ulitmate sacrifice this week and their families. BTW…..have never seen nor will ever watch shows with idiots like Sheen .

  5. Something good I have seen very recently in Virginia, are a couple stores stepping up. Walgreens Drugstore & Giants Grocery cashiers are asking if you would like to donate $1 to send candy or cans of soup over to active military.
A small step, but good to see.

  6. I would like to see the antics of the afore mentioned misfits restricted to a show like showbiz tonight. We don’t have to be looking in the direction of the tabloids at the store to know whats going on. This is inflicted on us while trying to get some real world, national, or local news on every so-called news program. I love our warriors and their families and will forever. God bless them.

  7. I went through bootcamp with Meis its sucks to lose a brother a friend that you did so much together with just a year ago and he is gone and americans dont give a rats ass whats more important then people that die so you can keep living the broke down useless lives.

  8. Rest In Peace Warriors and may your brothers and sisters that watched you fall find peace in their time. We love you all.

  9. “You got to love them and as I watch them in action I continue to wonder where we get such fine young warriors!” -Major Pain-
I wonder the same thing everyday. They keep me motivated. I figure if they can do what they do what I have to do is no big thing.
