Remember those that have paid the ultimate price to allow all to be free and voice what they like in our great country. You may be warm and with family during this holiday time. There are some that are miserable but with another part of their family and kicking ass this holiday season. Never forget those that have paid the price as their families will remember them for sure, so should we.

AFPS writer Donna Miles recently met Patton's mother, and paid a visit to his grave to lay a wreath at his grave; she shares her experience in a commentary. Patton was serving his seventh overseas deployment since 9/11 with the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, when he died in a helicopter crash in Tikrit, Iraq, on April 18, 2010.
