There are many times we influence villages and the people within them. Marines, no better friend, no worse enemy.

Time for a stoag.



  1. As always, Thank You for what you and your Marines are doing. @ mindy1, you miss the point. The Marines are there to make Afghanistan a better place so that kid can grow up in his own country.

  2. It’s things like this that make my heart hurt a little less when I think of my husband being over there. While it completely blows that he can’t be home with the kids and I, I know the Marines are over there doing good things.
    @ Mike – I think you misunderstood what Mindy said. I believe she meant that she hopes Afghanistan is a better country when the child grows up, not that he should grow up in a different country.
