  1. Wow the NYT actually put together something fairly good for once!
Gives us a bit of a view into living condtions out there…
    you all amaze me!

  2. Hebrews chapter 11 speaks of others…a fitting description of our Marines,
(Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and [in] mountains, and [in] dens and caves of the earth. Hebrews 11:38

  3. Seriously, Major, if you don’t give up your mailing address soon, all of the Marine care packages are going to get burried in the xmas rush. Not going to be a pretty sight…

  4. It was a very good short story.Peter did a fine job and I’m glad he’s safe.My father taught me to be able to know why a man does what he does, you must walk, run, see and feel what he feels. So why doesn’t a reporter stay the complete tour, from start to finish. From home to back home?

  5. Conversely, people also see streaks where none actually exist – the shooter with a ‘hot hand’ in basketball, for example, is a myth. Studies show that, if anything, a successful shot actually predicts a subsequent miss.

  6. I completely agree! I also find by doing something that makes a difference, an impact, keeps you healthier as well. Healthier in body, mind and spirit. Thank you for commenting!

  7. Mmm… I play a lot of videogames related to war like Medal of Honor and Call of Duty, but I don’t agree with real war. I think that videogames can show the destruction that wars can produce, but in a virtual way.
