The Medal of Honor

The Medal of Honor is the highest award for valor in action against an enemy force which can be bestowed upon an individual serving in the Armed Services of the United States. Generally presented to its recipient by the President of the United States of America in the name of Congress, it is often called the Congressional Medal of Honor.

  1. Last summer, I went to the Medal of Honor museum aboard the U.S.S. Yorktown in Charleston, S.C.-I can’t begin to explain how moving it was. I highly recommend it-a must see-for anyone who cherishes our military.

  2. I think this is the best way the country can be thankful with a person that gave the best in the armed service. Indeed the Medal of Honor is the best gift for that person. I should say the can be heroes because of the labor done.
