During the operation they searched for weapons as well as search for key Taliban leaders within the area.

  1. I heard on the radio this morning that the Marines are still waaaaaay ahead on their recruiting goals despite everything the libs can do to discourage young folks. I have absolutely no idea why this made the network news, but what the heck — it’s great!

  2. This D Co. op is the same kind of op the Army conducted ad naseum in Vietnam. Swoop in, search for weapons caches, feed the civilians, slap on a few band-aids, grab a couple of VC suspects and swoop out.
    Meanwhile the Viet Cong continued their stranglehold on the people and control of the countryside because they were ALWAYS there.
