Demost_idiot I had to work this weekend but of course I couldn’t help but see the bags of ass that decided to demonstrate against the Iraqi war in front of the nations capital this weekend. Singing coomby ya, I thought I was watching a bunch of want to be idiots from the sixties…………wait a minute, I was.

Although the country may be divided, I think it just shows how many people have no clue what is going on in Iraq right now. Along with the increasing use of surface to air missiles (characteristic of supply from Iran) it just goes to show that we need to crank up the holy hell machine and take care of things as the President stated in the State of the Union. (which John Kerry was the first to leave from as he rudely pushed people out of his way like the building was on fire………wow)

Its amazing how so many can put up the effort on a Sat morning and travel to the middle of Wash DC for a sit in, when they cant take 10 min and send some troops a care pkg. Kinda sums it up.

I like the quote I heard from one of their “speakers” on TV. “ I don’t support this demonstration but just want to see the war end”

Genius! I don’t know who is a more of a threat, Haji with an RPG or these thick skulled mongos.

I’ll have a cigar and think it over!

  1. Hanoi Jane was back in action this weekend. Seems like she has already washed the blood from thousands of US military dead from her hands in Vietnam and is now looking to soak them again in blood from our troops in Iraq. Makes me sick.

  2. I could type paragraphs of thoughts that all of you already have about this subject OR I can pack support boxes, write letters and fill out those darn customs forms. I’ll go with the latter but sign off by saying, regarding the former, – ARGH!

  3. These protesting asshats are just doing what little they can to make themselves famous. They are utterly self-serving, do not support either the troops or the mission, (can’t do one without the other, eh?), and don’t give a rats ass about how many lives were lost in ‘Nam when we ran. Only when these Jihadis get back into our country with their bombs will these dipsticks demand that we Sheepdogs get turned out. 63 Percent of America supports OIF, while 37 percent want America to fail there. 37 Percent! We used to be concerned with that “1 Percent” that didn’t have a clue.
how can so many be so damned dumb?
    nuf sed

  4. What we do is ….continue to do what we do. Counter them, shame them, expose them. What is at stake are our sons daughters, brothers, sisters, husbands and wives.
The thin coating of “we love the troops” we hate the war is peeling off badly. The hate for the troops is showing through.
Have you ever seen such anger and bile on the part of a group of really ugly commies and mental patients?
They are the most unattractive unloving bunch of defective humans you will ever see.
What amazes me is how a bunch of morons who are that stupid, can also be arrogant too. You would think stupidity would make them humble, but ……. that would require some intelligence.
I am pleased to be able to hang out with a bunch of people like you.

  5. I read these a$$es actually spit near a wounded soldier who was present to counter their protest. I hope to read that all Vietnam vets will come together and attend antiwar rallies, particularly when Hanoi Jane will be present. It’s time America stand up and show the world we are not all in agreement with our cowardly Congress and limp wristed protesters.

  6. They spat on Josh Sparling, the soldier who was wounded and while at WR received a card hoping he’d die…wonderful! Josh was on the morning show today on Fox and handles himself with great dignity and strength when talking about these jerks. (and he proposed to his gal on live tv…good for him!)

  7. Last night, I took my kids to a fallen Marine’s visitation, there my 13 year old daughter presented the family with a plaque, stating that on behalf of a grateful nation, Lance Cpl Luis Costillo will never be forgotten. Today, my husband and I stood out in the frigid cold and snow for hours in a flag line to show this family our respect.
My little Sarge is holding a blanket drive to collect blankets to send to her troops. She is getting cards signed by her friends and classmates to send to the wounded. In the spring, she will be going to Camp Lejeune, Marine style, and visiting the Wounded Warrior Barracks.
She continues to send emails, letters and care packages to as many as we can.
Protestors? I don’t have the time of the day for one of them. They can show up enmass all they want to, but if they really just stopped and thought for one friggin second the REAL message they are sending out, they would be completely ashamed. For every idiot out there, lets make damn sure there are 2 or 3 of the good guys getting taken care of. For every idiot, lets make damn sure there are 2 or 3 wounded warriors being given the comfort they EARNED. For every idiot, lets make sure there are 2 or 3 care packages being sent out. For every idiot, lets make damn sure that there are HUNDREDS who can send the RIGHT message. We are America, we are proud, we HONOR those doing the fight long ago, now and long into the future. I can almost bet that every single person there protesting, would in a heart beat be begging for our great military should the fight come to their back door now wouldn’t they?
Let them protest, just make sure as they do, our drive is stronger to do what is right, not because we have to, but because as my daughter says………it is the right thing to do.

  8. You are so right Sgt.Taylor B’s Mom & Leta. We at home have to focus even more on our mission, sending our love and support to our troops. Those “protestors” will never get it I am afraid. As our Major Pain says, “Keep attacking!”

  9. I saw Josh Sparling on the Hannity/Combs show and was so happy to see how well he is recovering and what a great spirit he has. Can you believe Combs implied Josh may be the problem because he was involved ‘in so many incidents’. Was he doing somthing to provoke the reactions!!!! The protesters look like just a bunch of warmed over 60’s protesters and you all are so right that they just boost the morale of the enemy AGAIN!

  10. I don’t go out of my way for the inane, but in close quarters, emotional rhetoric is mighty loud. So it was in my office cornered by a coworker spouting a wholesale pull out. Brow beaten about “those” and “they” and “all”” with each absolute epithet bullying a near permanent bruise from the verbal repeats. I don’t argue, yet am choked anyway in the backwash of hysterics, (finally) ending with their: “we have to pull out, you just don’t understand what those kids are going through, you were never military.” Nope, just a dumb civilian, but THEY know: as I point to my AnyMarine penpals on (my) bulletin board. I don’t know, but they know… as I open each overhead door, with (a couple of years worth) of photos from AnySoldiers, each with a quote from their missives, some epistle of encouragement from their much, much tougher world to help me take a stand in mine: “stay strong mother: you believe in us, we believe in you” and “we send our warrior strength to protect you” and “we are fed by your faith, feel ours” and my favorite Major’s “suck it up cupcake” (which in my 11th hours, always gets my smile) – as well as early Capt-B’s “keep attacking”. I’m just a firm constitutional believer and when it comes to world politics, maybe I don’t know jack, but I do know SGT Steve, 1LT Jon, SSG Jacob, LCpl Sara, PFC Carl, Gunny Mac, Capt. Polaris, SPC Luis (and more, and more, and more, and more); each of whom have helped me understand, stand strong, and appreciate every daily freedom. This time, I watched my coworker’s angst melt into their world of loyalty, honor, solidarity reading their inscriptions. I know thinking hurts; it’s an uphill battle against mob mentality, but taking some ground here, one person at a time.

  11. Combs must be reading the wacko-moonbat blogs and forums – they’re all saying that Josh must be making all these things up because ‘they’ haven’t heard about any other troops being mistreated or abused. One blog even came to the conclusion that Josh is a white supremacist neocon warmonger who sent the ‘I hope you die’ Christmas card to himself!
    Just to correct the record:
    1. the ‘spitter’ had masked his face with a bandana, as all good, peaceful anti-American protesters do.
    2. He verbally sparred with Josh, calling him names and saying he was ashamed to be from the same unit.
    3. Yes, the asshat was even wearing an 82nd patch!
    4. Dispite what the Times/AP reported, the spit landed on Josh’s sweatshirt, not some vague area of the ground.
    5. Josh DID NOT spit back.
    6. The ‘spitter’ ran away at a high rate of speed.
All this was made possible because the Capitol Park Police failed to keep the anti-American ‘tards off of the area and the sidewalk for which the FReepers had been given a permit. All the hippies should have been on the other side of a fence, futily launching loogies that would fall well shy of their intended targets.
Josh is a true warrior and when someone gets in his face and insults his beliefs, he’s going to respond. He’s too much of a gentleman and disciplined soldier to spit back, or take a swing at him.

  12. SGT TAYLOR B’S MOM.
HOW CAN I NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU?YOU ARE RIGHT ON THE MONEY ALL THE THE TIME. AND TAKE THAT FROM AN EX NAM GRUNT,WE HAVE TO STICK TOGETHER AND SUPPORT OUR TROOPS.I HATE THOSE DEM LIBS THAT TALK OUT OF BOTH SIDES OF THEIR MOUTHS.. OK NOW LETS GO OUT AND KICK SOME ASS…AND THATS AN ORDER.I’M NOT FOND OF FONDA. WAIT TILL THE REST OF HOLLYWEIRD GETS INTO THIS, I JUST CANT WAIT.
YES LETA I KNOW ABOUT THOSE CUSTOMS FORMS BUT AT LEAST WE PLAY BY THE RULES.

  13. VERY GOOD GUNN NUTT,
    YOU ALSO HAVE MY HEART.
AND PAIN I WILL HAVE A CEE GAR WITH YOU AND TACO TONIGHT AT 2300 HRS.
    SEMPER FI BROS AND GALS.

  14. Thank God the saner among us posted before I did. What a great group of people to be associated with. I will continue to help just as many of you fine people do. I never thought I would live long enough to see Hanoi Jane insult our troops in such a way again. One of us has lived too long. This weekend has brought out the rage that I have not felt in 35 years. The same kind of scum that protested my Dad are now protesting my kids. I think I am going to start a fund to send the protesters to Bagdad. Most of em are probably stupid enough to go. Set Hanoi Jane a podium up on Haifa St. Then watch the fun on CNN.

  15. Hang tough like Josh folks. What a well disciplined and bright young man.
What an absolutely adorable girl he has.
As for that guy with the 82nd patch, maybe he is a poser maybe he was there. I can buy you all the 82nd airborne patches you want locally.
If he was in the 82nd I hope he runs into a bunch of them in a bar with his patch and his hippycrap.

  16. I understand completely texasdillo, I was there too. I was burning up with her and whoever spit at Josh.
But just remember, that worthless slut is 69. She will be dead and rotting in hell soon.

  17. I thought this:
    1)Jane Fonda there
    2) All other asshats in one central location
    3) One section of F18s with Napalm.Yea that would damper their party 🙂
God help them if I am around when they spit on a wounded servicemember (honey get the $100 bail bond ready)

  18. My husband took the Metro into Washington Saturday to meet our son at the Auto show. (I stayed home to pack and send three care packages to Marines and Navy in Iraq) He was swarmed by demonstrators crowding the Shady Grove Metro station and overheard one mom saying to her daughter, “Just think Honey, this is your first protest march!” What a thing to teach a child!

  19. Along with all the other things they did and said what REALLY burned me is that the Cap. Police were called off and “let” the protesters paint slogans on OUR Capital steps…not because the cops wanted too…but because
“officials” didn’t want a confrontation…confrontation hell…keep em away from the Capital in the first place if that is the way they plan on treating the symbol of our Democracy! I applaud the staff of the Architect of the Cap. who cleaned of that vile graffiti@!

  20. Yes, just think honey this is your first protest and a beginning to completely screwing up multiple countries. Boy aren’t we proud! Again…..IDIOTS.
NAPALM SMELLS GREAT IN THE MORNING!

  21. My kids would be MORTIFIED if I ever had an inkling to take them to such a thing! In fact, I am pretty darn sure it would be the one and only time they would throw a fit and I would have to drag them by their hair to get there!!
Funny, instead of protests, my kids are taught the TRUE meaning of respect and honor. Well, they aren’t taught it, it just comes naturally to them.
The protestors, another fine example of our freedoms that have been fought for and won with courage, honor, pain and death. These people just don’t care. If they did, they would think about what they are doing. I can say I was a tad bit shocked though, our local news really didn’t cover it much. What they did show was a group of 3 tour buses coming back into the state full of people and it went something like this…..
The ONE they choose to have on air, the guy was asked why he went and what he wanted the outcome to be. His answer? ‘Um, man, I just went along with a group of buddies. We stood, we yelled, we came back.’ I had to laugh, good for the news for ONCE showing the mentality or lack there of on some of these people! Then I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming because the news was actually being negative towards the idiots instead of the other twisted way the media always seems to be.

  22. What a bunch of know-nothing know-it-alls! They remind me of spoiled children who know the price of everything but the value of nothing. They take their freedom for granted because they have no idea what it’s like to live in a country where people ‘disappear’ after participating in public protests. It’s all a big festival for them. They don’t make me ashamed to be an American; they make me ashamed that THEY are called Americans.

  23. Believe me it is still not as bad as the days back in the Vietnam mess. There were no groups like Freepers, or the Patriot Riders. No place like here where good folks like you all can gather and support one another.
I remember going to DC on a weekend in the early 70’s with a pick-up team (provisional rifle company) from Camp Lejeune to protect America from Americans. Another protest turned riot. Yes we held the turds. We were still armed with M-14’s in those days and with bayonets on them we had good reach. We were right out of the National Guard Riot duty manual. Designated riflemen, M-79’s with CS rounds. We had old style flame throwers loaded with CS. I had the pleasure of selecting my “Goon Platoon” for Commie snatching.
It was a provisional rifle company. But Lord how I longed to have deployed with my Artie Battery, and laid the105mm tubes hub to hub across the street and cleaned out the commies with flechette rounds. I think the Major would even like the carnage as much as he likes napalm.

  24. GOOD REPONSE JIM B.
I MYSELF DID TWO TOURS IN NAM.
YES WE WERE SHIT ON WHEN WE CAME HOME BY DRAFT DODGING,COLLEGE DEFFERMENT MAMAS BOYS.BUT WE DIDN’T FIGHT BACK,WE HAD ENOUGH OF FIGHTING.LET THOSE A/HS GO HOME AND HIT THE BOOKS TO LEARN HOW TO BE A DEM LIB.

  25. I understand that fantasies of calling in napalm strikes or artillery fusillades of flechettes on a tempting target rich environment of misguided morons and pathological political miscreants may have some cathartic value, but I question the practice. It is not that I have not myself engaged such reverie, I certain have. It is just that I recognize it does nothing to assuage the polarization our nation endures, to the benefit of our enemies. As much as we, and in my opinion rightfully so, disagree with our deluded brethren, they still remain our brethren.
How much satisfaction is derived by our enemy when such vitriol, worthy of they; flows so freely from us toward one another. Let the misguided morons and pathological political miscreants emasculate their convictions by intemperate behaviors. Our scorn would best be served by avoiding adoption of their malevolence.
Commenters on other Blogs are calling for our own march on DC to emphasize our solidarity with our troops and our belief and support of their mission. Who if not us? Any takers?

  26. Well lookat that good news eh?
“Terror Victims’ Families Get Approval to Sue Arab Bank
    By Julie Stahl
    CNSNews.com Jerusalem Bureau Chief
    January 31, 2007
Jerusalem (CNSNews.com) – A U.S. court decision allowing victims of Palestinian suicide bombings to sue a major Mideast bank is a “great step” forward in the war against terrorism, Israeli victims said Wednesday.
U.S. District Court Judge Nina Gershon ruled this week that terror victims can sue the Arab Bank for its role in transferring Saudi funds to the families of Palestinian suicide bombers.”

  27. Esoterik,
Uhm, …, them’s some purty big ol’ words yer talkin! 😉
Yes indeed, there is a plan for another Troop-Supporting/Moonbat Countering rally on March 17th!
International ANSWER, the motherload of commie pinko assholes, will be gathering first at the Vietnam Memorial, then marching on down to the Pentagon in their usual traffic snarling egomaniacal fashion. FreeRepublic will try to get more than 40 patriots this time to counter the smelly aging hippies and their inbred offspring.
    http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1774684/posts
Hanoi Jane and the Sheehag are supposed to be there, too!

  28. GunnNutt-
I see that I have no need to suffer anxiety that my meaning or purpose would escape you. You remain as always assiduously intuitive. – LOL
Thank you for the link. It will be distributed.
It is truly regrettable that any quantity of our fellow citizens are inclined to burrow their heads in such manner as to threaten strangulation from their sphincter. Their miasmic assemblage resembling nothing less then a malignant tumor wanting extirpation. We should not however acquiesce to a designation of respondents. We need to claim the initiative of aggressive petition; disclosing their charade.

  29. Major, I feel your PAIN. It is so raw that it is tangible. I agree with your sentiments. I am to the right of you on this. I wish we had leveled Ramadi and Faluja. I believe this war must be won in Anbar. IMHO. You are a hero and a great patriot. If my son goes back to Iraq I wish it could be under you Sir.

  30. I have never seen whiners so big as milblog folks. Disagree with the protesters all you want but don’t think for a moment that you are better than they. You think protesters hate the troops and their supporters? Why do care? Troops and their supporters seem to very much hate the protesters. For a folks trained with tax dollars to be tough it seems to me that folks are pretty sensative. You can not boast that you protect the freedoms of Americans and then bitch when they use those freedoms in a way that you don’t like.

  31. you people are so dumb, this war is based on a lie. to think we dont support the troops is crazy… that is playing right into Bush’s hands. Do you REALLY think he invaded Iraq simply because he wants to bring democracy to them??

  32. What really scares me is how many of you folk have learned nothing about the world since NAM. I really had hoped that we had advanced but sadly it appears we are doomed to keep repeating the past. Bush is just as much a war criminal as Sadam was. Open your eyes.
