Wesleycominghome3Being deployed can be tuff on families. It can be really tuff on families during the holiday season. One unit who recently came home is the 24th MEU in North Carolina. I was able to welcome many friends back home as warriors met their loved ones at Camp Lejeune this week. See the video here.

Just in time for the holidays, over one thousand marines and sailors returned back to U.S. soil at Camp Lejeune Sunday morning.

The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit received a hero’s homecoming as scores of family members and friends celebrated their safe arrival. The unit left North Carolina in June and assisted with the evacuation of over 15,000 Americans in Lebanon during the battle between Israel and militant group, Hezbollah.

The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s commander says some marines will return to duty as early as this spring for another rotation in the Middle East.

Welcome back warriors!-Semper Fi

Here is a C-Gar for you all!

  4. I just had to share this little story with you guys. We may never ever know how our support will impact our troops. The day after Thanksgiving I opened an email from an address I didn’t recognize. As a started reading, tears welled up in my eyes…it was from a corpsman who had recieved a random card I’d sent while he was in Iraq. He had been badly wounded in Nov. 05 in an attack and he told me that the card really encouraged him. Today I am happy to say this man is fully recovered. He has courageously volunteered to return to Iraq with his Marines in January. I am definitely gonna be “adopting” him and his Marines and I will do my best to get him to sign up on ANYMARINE.COM. An amazing coincindence to this story: Early this year, my best friend was down at San Diego Naval Hospital handing out goodies to the wounded warriors. It just so happens that my corpsman friend was there at that same time, met my friend, and recived some of the cool stuff she handed out. None of us had any idea that all three of us were connected like this…how’s that for a small world?! Keep supporting those troops folks, they need us!
Semper Fi, to all those heroes–thanks for all that you do for us!

  15. According to my own monitoring, billions of persons in the world receive the mortgage loans from various creditors. Hence, there is good possibilities to receive a term loan in every country.
